Terms of Use
Using the app
By installing the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You are responsible for the files you open in the app and for keeping your device secure.
What the app does
The app removes a password from a PDF when you supply the correct password, or removes owner restrictions (such as limits on printing or copying) from a PDF that opens without one. It can also protect a PDF with a password you choose, and it can merge, split, reorder, rotate, compress, and watermark PDFs, read or clear their metadata, extract their text, and convert between PDFs and images. All of this happens on your device.
The app does not crack, guess, or bypass a password you do not know. If a PDF is protected by a password you cannot provide, the app cannot open it.
When you protect a PDF, the app does not keep the password and cannot recover it. If you forget the password you set, the protected copy cannot be opened.
Your responsibility
You may use the app only on PDFs that you own or that you are authorized to modify. Removing a password or restriction from a document you do not have the right to alter may be prohibited by copyright, contract, or other laws where you live.
You are solely responsible for how you use the app and for making sure your use is lawful. We are not responsible for any use that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.
What we provide
The app is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable but do not promise it will be error-free or handle every file. Keep a copy of your original PDF until you have confirmed the copy the app produced is what you need.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app.
Purchases
If the app offers purchases, they are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms, and any refunds go through the store.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above tells you when they last changed.
